In early June, PPGSis PhD student Rafael Ramos traveled to France, where he will conduct his research as part of the Sandwich Doctorate Abroad Program (PDSE), with a scholarship granted by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). Affiliated with the Regional Nucleus of Herpetology at UFC, the student is supervised by Prof. Dr. Robson Ávila and is being mentored abroad by Dr. Antoine Fouquet (pictured) at the Center for Research in Biodiversity and Environment (CRBE) at the University of Toulouse – Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France. The research focuses on the systematics and taxonomy of a group of treefrogs from the Neotropical region, predominantly distributed in the Amazonian region. #PPGSisInFrance #internationalization #PDSECapes
