The Coordination of the Graduate Program in Systematics, Use, and Conservation of Biodiversity (PPGSis) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) announces the opening of the selection process for filling the following positions for enrollment in the 2025.1 term:

(a) 08 (eight) positions for the Master’s program under open competition; and
(b) 06 (six) positions for the Doctoral program, of which 04 (four) positions are for open competition and 02 (two) positions are for affirmative action, intended for the following categories: self-declared Black, Indigenous, Quilombola, and persons with disabilities (PCD).

The call will cover the research lines of PPGSis, which are part of the concentration area “Systematics, Use, and Conservation of Biodiversity,” including:

• Research Line 1: Taxonomy, Systematics, and Biological Evolution;
• Research Line 2: Prospecting and Sustainable Use of Biodiversity.
  Both affirmative action and non-affirmative action candidates can apply for any of the two research lines.
